Okay, I typed a message and it disappeared so if this is double, so be it.
Re Gift wrap for Christmas. I used Christmas material and made bags of any and all size according to the gift. Just two side sewing if you can fold bottom. Gather at top and tie with ribbon, rafia, yarn or other items you might have to close it, add tag and there you go. Very reusable. diane[i]

Last year, I took clear glass ornaments, filled them with pretty stuff, and took a silver/gold pen and wrote my family member's names on the ornament, along with the year.

I did something similar -- including an Advent-related quote on a strip of paper on the inside. Any sort of crafty materials work -- extra string, beads, tiny fake flowers, confetti, etc. I bought the clear bulbs at Hobby Lobby on a sale day -- about a dozen for $2!

Maria in our church office made a cute Mrs. Butterworth angel for our White Elephant gift exchange. She painted it all gold, wrapped a gold pipe cleaner around the lid and then glued a doiled on her back that had been folded like a fan. It was super cute! She also put two bags of pancake mix in the bag for a great little gift.
